Should I Sell Assets to Pay Off Debt?

If you are like us, one of the best things you can do financially is become debt free. If you want to do this, there are some costs/sacrifices that need to be made. One of those costs could be selling investments or assets, but is it worth it? And if so, what assets should you sell?

Retirement accounts may not be what you want to sell. You will have to pay taxes and penalties. Non-retirement investments are open to selling. Maybe downsizing is in the future, sell items and you can replace them in the new town, state, or even country that you move to!
